Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom with a faux leather finish appeared online few weeks back and the specifications of the phone leaked earlier this year that revealed a 20.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash. Samsung confirmed that it would unveil the camera phone at an event in Singapore on April 29th. This hinted at the name Galaxy K.

More images of the phone has appeared on Baidu that shows the camera zoomed out and reveals the slim design of the phone with a more rounded design. It also has a silicone case over it, but it reveals the volume rocker, power button and the dedicated camera key.

According to earlier leaks, the Galaxy K camera phone would come with a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.7 GHz Dual Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core Exynos (5260) processor with Mali-T624 GPU and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat).

It would come with a 2.1MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and expandable with microSD. It is also expected to come with a IR LED (Remote Control) and the usual set of connectivity features such as  3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, aGPS + GLONASS and NFC.

The launch event for the next-generation Galaxy camera phone less than a week away.
