CCA Lyra Earphone review

Audiophiles on a budget have never had it better. From Beyerdynamic and Fiio to Audio Technica, there’s an option for every sound preference and every budget. And today, we have CCA (Clear Concept Audio) Lyra, an in-ear wired headphone that retails at Headphone Zone at Rs. 1,795.

Box contents

  • CCA Lyra headphones
  • 3 pairs of ear tips — Small, Medium, and Large
  • Removable cable with 3.5mm jack
  • Instruction manual

The design of the CCA Lyra is attractive! It has a transparent polycarbonate shell with a diamond-cut design. We got an exchangeable 0.75mm gold-plated 2pin connector as well. The outer shell comes in two colors — white and blue and we were sent the former, which one should consider if they want to have a see-through design on their earphones.

SPECIFICATIONS CCA Lyra

  • Driver Single 10mm Dual Magnetic Dynamic
  • Impedance 28ohm
  • Frequency Range 20-40Khz
  • Sensitivity 113+/-3dB
  • Cable 0.75mm recessed 2pin (QDC) 3.5mm 120cm length

CCA Lyra houses a dual magnetic 10mm single dynamic driver. In addition, the acoustic tuning engineers at CCA claim to have tuned the LYRA to give users a full-range audio experience with their patented polymer composite diaphragm.

There is a 0.15mm magnetic gap that lowers the distortion rate. In addition, the 0.035mm diameter loop helps in a stable and efficient driver vibration frequency.

I am not an audio expert, but I listen to music regularly. From my perspective, the CCA Lyra sounds good with most genres of music, including music with high bass output. The bass levels are distinct and well-defined without sounding husky. I think people who enjoy hip-hop music will particularly appreciate the sound quality of the CCA Lyra.

The CCA Lyra is a great value for the price! It’s not the best option out there, but it’s a very solid choice that delivers great sound quality and performance for the price. Lyra is a very good choice if you’re looking for a well-balanced sound signature.
