Twitter buys mobile ad-tech startup TapCommerce
Twitter is continuing its shopping spree with another acquisition. The micro blogging firm has acquired ad tech firm TapCommerce to expand its mobile marketing platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by either of the company, however Re/code reports that the deal is worth $100 million.

In a bid to expand its media offerings, Twitter has bought live video sharing and editing platform SnappyTV for an undisclosed sum. Twitter is bringing Daydream mode to Android app, according to a report from Android Police. A not so popular feature in Android 4.2, Daydream is essentially a screensaver that displays photos or content on the screen in the background. The actual deal amount is not disclosed by the either of the company but Tech Crunch touts that it is around $50 million. Twitter is trying to renter the music business with its latest acquisition plans. The micro blogging company’s attempt to venture into music failed miserably with Twitter Music which was killed mere one year after its launch.
