Google unveiled Nexus 6P smartphones at an event last month. Today it has launched the Huawei-made smartphone in India, along with the Nexus 5X. The Nexus 6P packs a 5.7-inch Quad HD display at 518 PPI, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 12.3-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, IR Laser assisted autofocus and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has anodized aluminium body and is just 7.3mm thick. Google Nexus 6P launching in India soon on Flipkart

Google unveiled the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones at an event earlier this week. Flipkart has started teasing the launch of the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphone in India. This time Flipkart doesn’t have a ticker to show the pre-order date of the latest Nexus smartphone, like it did for last year’s Nexus 6 launch. Since the smartphone is shipping for pre-ordered customers later this month in some countries, we can expect the pre-order to start in India later this month and it might go on sale next month. Nexus 6P Special Edition in Gold appears on Japan’s Google Play Store

Yesterday, Google announced the Nexus 6P in three colors –  Aluminium, Graphite and Frost White. Now, it looks like Japan may get a special version of the phone.

Google announces Android Sensor Hub that monitors your device’s movements

Google announced Android Sensor Hub which is a feature common to both the LG Nexus 5X as well as the Huawei Nexus 6P. It is basically a secondary processor that is designed to keep a track of the device’s movements.

Google launches Nexus Protect – Premium warranty packages for the Nexus 6P and 5X

Google has announced an add on insurance policy for the new Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X smartphones. The additional insurance coverage is optional and will be valid for a period of two years.
