Microsoft revenue up by 17% YoY in FY Q4 2018, productivity and business products continue to grow

Microsoft today announced FY Q4 2018 results with a total revenue of $30.1 billion that is a growth of 17% compared to the same time last year. The company’s total operating income was around $10.4 billion witnessing a growth of 35%. It reported a net income of $8.9 billion GAAP and $8.8 billion non-GAAP. Google warns change in Android business model post $5.04 billion EU penalty

The EU has fined Google with a $5.04 billion for forcing its apps on Android manufacturers. The European Commission has fined Google €4.34 billion ($5.04 billion) for breaching EU antitrust rules. It claims that since 2011, Google has imposed illegal restrictions on Android device manufacturers and mobile networks to cement its dominant position in general internet search.
