Apple is scaling back its plans for a virtual AI-based health coach, according to people familiar with the matter. Samsung announced at the it’s Developer Conference that it is opening its first health-tracking platform to developers. The company also unveiled its Simband health tracker that keeps a tab on wearers heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
