BlackBerry PlayBook to support Java and Android apps via App Players

RIM announced the pricing and launch date for Blackberry Playbook this week. There were rumors that Blackberry Playbook will support Android apps. Now RIM made an official announcement that Blackberry Playbook will support Java and Android apps.

Blackberry Playbook to be available on April 19 for $499 in United States and Canada

Today RIM announced that Blackberry Playbook would be available in United states and Canada starting at $499. Distribution of Playbook would be through 20,000 retail stores all over U.S and Canada, starting 19th of April.

Apple iPad 2 vs BlackBerry Playbook specs comparison
