OPPO has launched the A5 2020 and A9 2020 smartphones in India, ahead of the expected date. Samsung just launched the Galaxy A50s (SM-A507F) and Galaxy A30s (SM-A307F), the company’s latest mid-range smartphones, as expected. The Galaxy A50s has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, is powered by the new Exynos 7 Series 9611 10nm processor with 4GB of RAM and runs Android Pie, features upgraded 48-megapixel primary rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera, while the 8-megapixel 123° ultra-wide and 5-megapixel depth sensor on the back are the same. Apple introduced iPhone 11 XS, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max at an event in the U.S. few hours back. At the event it also announced price cuts for iPhone XR, iPhone 8 series, and Apple India has also reduced the price of the models in India. This is the first official price cut on MRP for the iPhone XR since the launch last year, even though it was offered at cheaper rates with bank offers earlier this year. The iPhone XR 64GB and 128GB versions are now Rs. 27,000 cheaper.

These have new Super Retina XDR OLED display, which it calls the brightest display ever in an iPhone with up to 1,200 nits brightness., are powered by A13 Bionic chip which is 20 percent faster CPU and GPU than A12., 12MP triple-camera system that includes an Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto camera for low-light photography. These are water resistant with IP68 ratings (maximum depth of 4 metres up to 30 minutes).

Apple at its special event announced its seventh-generation iPad with a larger 10.2-inch Retina Display. It has support for the full-sized Smart Keyboard, Apple Pencil support, A10 Fusion chip, advanced cameras and sensors. It features an enclosure made from 100 percent recycled aluminum with the same strength, durability and finish as the aluminum in all Apple products. The LTE version has Gigabit-class LTE connectivity. It still has Touch ID below the display.
