Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of REDMI 15A 5G, the company’s next budget 5G smartphone in the REDMI 15 series, in India on March 27th. It is teased as “The Real Hero”.
It will come with a 6300mAh battery. Xiaomi promises a “Massive Dependable Battery,” which should easily power through intense daily usage, gaming, and media consumption without breaking a sweat.
It will come with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The teasers claim it will be the “Segment’s Largest and Smoothest Display,” promising fluid scrolling, better gaming, and an overall more premium feel that usually belongs to higher-priced tiers.
The back of the phone features a sleek, modern camera module housing a dual-camera setup enhanced by AI. Billed as being “built to stand out,” the teaser showcases the phone in three attractive colors: a classic Black, a sleek Light Blue, and an elegant Light Purple/Lavender.
The teaser image showing the phone speckled with water droplets hints at splash resistance, reinforcing the claim that it is “Tough on the Outside, Safe on the Inside.”
