At the MWC 2026 Xiaomi has introduced the Leica Leitzphone Powered By Xiaomi along with the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, after the phone was introduced in China as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition.
Specifications of the phone are similar to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra but feature Leica’s iconic camera color combination with an aluminium-alloy body with a nickel-anodized finish, Leica camera engraving and a rotatable camera ring that provides precise control, assignable to focal length, focus, or bokeh and have a black fiberglass back cover. There is also the iconic Leica Red Dot, and features Leica UX / UI. There are different modes.
- Leica Essential Mode: This exclusive mode recreates the image quality of legendary cameras.
- Leica M9 Style: Uses a “RAW-to-RGB” model trained on hundreds of thousands of M9 photos.
- Leica M3 Style: Digitally models the grain and tonality of Leica MONOPAN 50 film for authentic black-and-white images.
