NVIDIA has finally confirmed the launch of its GeForce Now cloud gaming service in India in November 2025, 5 years of the launch of the service in North America and Europe. This follows its launch in Thailand, facilitated by the GFNA partner Brothers Picture. The India launch is part of a broader global rollout and coincides with a major technical upgrade to the service.
Blackwell RTX Architecture Upgrade
In September, GeForce NOW is set to receive an upgrade to the NVIDIA Blackwell RTX architecture. This enhancement is intended to deliver what the company describes as “GeForce RTX 5080-class performance” to subscribers. The upgrade aims to provide users with improved gaming performance, including higher resolutions and frame rates, without a change in membership pricing.
Key technical specifications highlighted include 62 teraflops of compute performance, a 48GB frame buffer, and faster frame rates compared to previous-generation servers. The architecture also incorporates technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, which supports streaming at up to 5K resolution at 120 frames per second (fps), and NVIDIA Reflex for competitive gaming, which can deliver streams at up to 360 fps. Additionally, a new Cinematic Quality Streaming mode with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and AV1 encoding is being introduced for visual fidelity.
The upgrade is also expected to improve compatibility with various devices. Premium members will be able to stream at 90 fps on Steam Decks and 4K 120 fps on the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld. The service will also support streaming on select LG monitors and TVs, and Mac users are slated to receive the full Blackwell RTX upgrade.
New ‘Install-to-Play’ Feature

Alongside the architectural upgrade, GeForce NOW is introducing a new feature called “Install-to-Play.” This feature will allow members to install games directly in the cloud, expanding the service’s game catalog to nearly 4,500 titles. The company states that this will enable players to access a larger portion of their PC game collections.
Ultimate and Performance members will receive 100GB of single-session storage, with options for additional persistent storage for a monthly fee. This is intended to allow installed games to remain ready for play without requiring re-installation.
Upcoming Game Titles
NVIDIA has announced a lineup of games that are planned to be optimized for the upgraded platform. This includes titles such as “ARC Raiders,” “Borderlands 4,” “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7,” “Cinder City,” “Dying Light: The Beast,” “Hell Is Us,” “The Outer Worlds 2,” and “Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.” The company states that members will be able to play these titles on the cloud from their launch day.
Pricing and Availability

The Ultimate membership for GeForce NOW is stated to remain at USD 19.99 (Rs. 1,745 approx.) a month, with a 12-month plan available for USD 199.99 (Rs. 17,460 approx.). The Performance membership will also remain at USD 9.99 (Rs. 870 approx.) a month. The company advises that server space for the upgraded Ultimate membership will be limited.
Pricing for India should be announced when it launches in November.
