Samsung has started rolling out One UI 8 Watch update based on Wear OS 6 for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, skipping the One UI 7 Watch update for the smartwatch. This update integrates health and interface features previously introduced with the new Galaxy Watch8 series, making them accessible to a broader range of Galaxy users.
The One UI 8 Watch update provides Galaxy Watch Ultra users with a suite of new tools aimed at promoting healthier habits. These include Running Coach, Vascular Load, and Antioxidant Index, all designed to offer insights that may assist users in their health and wellness routines.
In addition to health features, the One UI 8 Watch optimizes the user interface for the smartwatch screen. Multi-Info Tiles allow for a customizable display of information, ranging from health metrics to weather.
The Now Bar is also included, aiming to ensure that ongoing activities remain easily accessible. These One UI 8 Watch features are integrated with the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s existing performance and durability.
The Galaxy Watch8, and Galaxy Watch8 Classic that run One UI 8 Watch out of the box are already available to pre-order.
