VLC 2.2 for iPhone and iPad

VideoLAN brought the VLC media player back to Apple iTunes Store last year. Since then the app has been updated gradually, now the app received a major update that brings a new UI for  iOS 7 and a lot of new features including Google Drive integration, Dropbox streaming, better WiFi upload and lots more. VLC for iOS7 was first demoed back in November last year.

New features in VLC 2.2 for iPhone and iPad

  • Google Drive integration and Dropbox streaming
  • New multitouch gestures
  • Improved library for TV Shows and Audio
  • Better UPnP integration, with downloading support
  • A startup tutorial
  • New streaming formats and protocols supported
  • Rewritten WiFi upload
  • Improved privacy when using Passcode Lock
