Qualcomm to demo Snapdragon 805 camera features, Chroma Flash, Action Shot and OptiZoom at CES

Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 805 processor with Ultra HD support and Adreno 420 GPU back in November last year. The chip supports world’s first mobile 1GPixel/s (Giga-pixel per second) ISP with large increase in ISP and CPP (camera post processor) speed and throughput. This offers sharper, higher resolution photos with advanced post-processing features for low light conditions.

Now Qualcomm has detailed some of its camera capabilities including, Chroma Flash, Action Shot and OptiZoom. Here are some details and a sneak peek of these features that Qualcomm has shared.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 805-powered devices can simultaneously take a flash and a non-flash version of the same subject and combine these 2 images to improve the quality of flash photography.
