Nokia Lumia 2520 Hands On


Nokia unveiled the Lumia 2520, the company’s first Windows RT tablet at the Nokia World along with a range of Lumia and Asha devices. We already brought you the photo gallery of the tablet, here we have the hands-on video. The Lumia 2520 has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS ClearBlack display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection and runs on Windows 8.1 RT OS. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor. It has a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 F-Stop/Aperture and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.It also has stereo front facing speakers. Check out the hands-on below.

It packs a 6.7-megapixel rear camera with 1/3.4″ sensor, f/1.9 F-Stop/Aperture and 1080p full HD video recording 30 fps. The tablet is 8.9mm think and 615 grams. It packs 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and micro SD card support up to 64GB. The connectivity features include, LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB, NFC, USB 3.0, HDMI Micro Connector and GPS. It packs a 8000 mAh battery with up to 11 hours of usage.

Nokia Power Keyboard

Nokia has also announced the Nokia Power Keyboard, an additional accessory for the Lumia 2520 that connects via dock connector. This would also offer 5 extra hours of battery life and has two built-in USB ports. The keyboard includes a fully functional keypad with gesture trackpad. The Nokia Power Keyboard is priced at US$ 149. Here is the hands-on.

The Lumia 2520 comes in White, Red, Cyan and Black colors. White and the red colors are glossy while the Cyan and the black colored variant have matte finish. It is expected to roll out sometime in Q4 2013.
