Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Android 4.2 update starts rolling out

Asus has announced that the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OTA (over-the-air) update v for the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T would start roll out starting from today.  The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity was announced last year at MWC with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It received the Android 4.1 update last year, and promised the Android 4.2 update for the TF700T in Q2 2013 last month . The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 was the first non-Nexus tablet to receive the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update, which rolled out last month.

  • eneral improvements to overall performance

We are not sure which region would get the update first. Asus is expected to roll out the Android 4.2 update for other tablets in the Transformer series in Q2 2013.
