Taipei display manufacturer CHIMEI Innolux will be mass producing 5″ 1080p display from Q1 2013, which means almost all the major devices manufactured next year will be sporting this gorgeous display.
If you are craving for the gorgeous display used in the HTC Butterfly, then this display is going to be like that. 1080p on a 5″ display means 443 ppi, I can’t wait to get my hands on these beautiful devices. There are other manufacturers who are working towards a 1080p display, Samsung is expected to launch this display somewhere in mid 2013, maybe with the Galaxy S IV. Well, we really have a good resolution for this new year.
