Microsoft announced its entry into the tablet space in the form of the Surface RT and Surface Pro earlier this year. There has been a lot of speculation around the price point of the product. Finally Microsoft today unveiled the price point for the Surface RT via their online store.
The tablet will be available starting 26th October for $499 for the 32GB version. Keep in mind that this is a WiFi only tablet and the cool touch keyboard is not bundled in. You can step up to a $599 SKU which bundles a touch cover with the 32GB tablet. The tablet costs $119 on its own. The top end model has been priced at $699 which gets you a 64GB Surface RT and a touch cover. Microsoft seems to have priced their tablets quite competitively. Will you be picking up one ?
