Motorola Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD with 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 4G LTE announced


Motorola has announced the Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD for Verizon Wireless. Both these phones come with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by end of 2012). Both these phones come with similar features and design including a DuPont Kevlar fiber back and 4G LTE support. The Droid Razr Maxx HD has a powerful  3300 mAh battery similar to the original Razr Maxx.

Both these phones comes with a 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash, 1080p HD recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera with 720p HD video video recording. These have viewdini app to watch movies, television shows and other video content at 4G LTE speeds.

These phones 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory (12 GB user memory), expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD. The connectivity features include, 4G LTE / HSPA+ 21 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / aGPS, HDMI, DLNA and NFC.

The Droid Razr HD is 8.4 mm thick and comes with a 2530mAh, better than the original Droid Razr, while the Droid Razr Maxx HD comes with a 3300 mAh battery and is 9.3 mm thick.

The Droid Razr HD would be available from Rogers in Canada as Motorola Razr HD LTE from fall. The Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD would be available from Verizon Wireless in USA before the holidays. No details about the pricing yet.
