HP Telecom India ropes in Psykie to lead integrated communications

HP Telecom India Limited (HPTL) has awarded its integrated communications mandate to strategic communications agency Psykie Creative Strategies. The appointment comes as the company seeks to refine its corporate narrative and align its communication strategy with its ongoing expansion plans.

Established in 2011, HPTL initially operated primarily as a distributor of telecommunication products. Over the past decade, the organization has broadened its scope, transitioning into a diversified technology and distribution enterprise.

Along the way, the company has forged partnerships with prominent global consumer technology brands, including Apple and Nothing, while steadily scaling its footprint across regional markets. In February 2025, HPTL marked a significant milestone by listing on the NSE Emerge platform.

Under the terms of the engagement, Psykie Creative Strategies will oversee a comprehensive scope of work encompassing public relations, corporate communications, executive thought leadership, and digital communications strategy.

The mandate is designed to enhance HPTL’s market presence and articulate its evolving position within India’s broader technology distribution landscape. Psykie will be responsible for structuring an integrated communications framework aimed at increasing visibility around HPTL’s operational milestones, brand associations, leadership perspective, and future growth initiatives across industry and stakeholder channels.

Commenting on the partnership, Vijay Lalsingh Yadav, Managing Director, HV group, said:

As we enter the next phase of our growth, our focus is not only on expanding our business but also on building a stronger technology and distribution ecosystem with greater digitalisation, transparency and scale. We want our communication to reflect this vision and the evolution of HPTL as a business. Our partnership with Psykie is aimed at bringing greater clarity and consistency to our corporate narrative, strengthening our leadership positioning and ensuring that our journey, capabilities and ambitions are communicated effectively to our stakeholders.

Ravindra Samant, co-founder, Psykie, said:

HPTL has built a strong business over the years, with an impressive journey across technology, distribution and retail. As the company enters its next phase, there is a significant opportunity to build a stronger corporate narrative around its growth, leadership and ambitions. Psykie’s focus will be on bringing these stories to the forefront and building sustained relevance for HPTL across media, industry and key stakeholder communities.
