itel has launched the ‘Inno Series’ in India. Headlining this new lineup is the itel Aqua, which enters the market as India’s only feature phone equipped with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
According to the company, the Inno Series is designed to address practical, everyday challenges faced by consumers by blending durability with functional innovation.

The development of the itel Aqua was heavily influenced by consumer data. An internal survey conducted by itel among feature phone users revealed that water damage is one of the leading causes of device replacement, accounting for 42% of cases.
To mitigate this issue, the itel Aqua features an IP67 rating, certifying that the device can withstand submersion in water for up to 30 minutes, alongside protection against muddy or wet environments.
In addition to environmental ruggedness, the device introduces AI Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to the Indian feature phone segment. This technology is engineered to filter out ambient sounds from high-noise environments—such as markets, factories, construction sites, and traffic—to improve call clarity for both speakers.
