Alongside the Redmi K90 Max, Xiaomi has introduced the REDMI K Pad 2, the company’s latest flagship compact tablet, at an event in China. It packs an 8.8″ 3K 165Hz customized LCD screen, the same as its predecessor but with increased HBM brightness of 1100 nits and a 540Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate.
The tablet is powered by TSMC’s 3nm-based Dimensity 9500 SoC, has an extra-large 15300 mm² aluminum alloy liquid-cooled VC, and a chip-centred architecture, which greatly improves heat dissipation speed and supports a 3K super-resolution full-frame 165 Hz gaming experience across 40+ mainstream games in China.
With this new tablet, Xiaomi is offering a newly upgraded multi-game eye protection solution. Supports full-brightness DC dimming, reduces blue light, and has no flicker for eye protection. The tablet is equipped with a 9100mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
There are also features that improve the gaming experience of the K Pad 2, such as the bilateral USB-C port for simultaneous charging and audio, 360° surround antenna placement for improved signal coverage, bypass charging, and dual 1620 large-size full-range speakers with Sound by Bose optimization.
