Samsung just launched the Galaxy M17e 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.7-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD screen with a notch and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC.
It has a 50MP main + 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP front camera. The phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8 on top, has Gemini Live features and will get 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
In terms of build, the device measures 8.2mm in thickness and utilizes a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back panel. It incorporates a key island design for button access and carries an IP54 rating, offering basic resistance against dust ingress and water splashes. The phone packs a 6000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
