OnePlus has released initial details regarding its newest wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro, as the successor to last year’s Nord Buds 3 Pro. A complete reveal of the device, including full specifications and availability, is scheduled for March 19th.
Key Features and Specifications
Based on the preliminary announcement, the Nord Buds 4 Pro will introduce several hardware and software updates to the Nord Buds line:
- Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The earbuds are equipped to block up to 55 decibels of ambient noise and have received high-performance noise cancellation certification from TÜV Rheinland.
- Audio Drivers: The device features 12mm titanium-coated drivers designed to produce enhanced bass and clearer vocals. OnePlus notes these drivers provide a significant power increase over the previous generation.
- Supported Audio Formats: The earbuds support both 3D and gaming spatial audio, as well as the LHDC 5.0 high-resolution audio codec.
- Call Quality: The system utilizes a “Six-Mic AI Clear Call” setup—featuring three separate microphones on each earbud—to isolate voice audio and reduce background noise during phone calls.
- Smart Controls: The earbud stems include integrated touch and swipe controls, allowing users to adjust volume directly without needing to access their connected device.
- Design and Dimensions: The Nord Buds 4 Pro will be available in two colors: Radiant Gray and Raven Black. Each earbud weighs 4.4 grams. Additionally, the charging case has been reduced in size by more than 10% compared to previous models.
