FoneArena – Best Products of MWC 2026


Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona has concluded after four days of presentations, demonstrations, and showcasing the latest developments in the mobile technology sector. This year’s event featured a wide array of products and innovations, reflecting the industry’s ongoing evolution.

In recognition of the diverse innovations on display, FoneArena presented several awards to selected products and technologies.

HONOR Robot Phone

After teasing it last year, HONOR introduced the HONOR Robot Phone, a conceptual leap in mobile technology. This has a 200MP camera and features the industry’s smallest 4DoF gimbal system directly into the phone, creating the hardware foundation for its embodied motion control.

The result is rock-steady framing and enhanced stabilization in dynamic, high-movement scenarios. It also offers AI Object Tracking, and AI SpinShot. The HONOR ROBOT PHONE will launch later this year.

Honor Magic V6

HONOR introduced HONOR Magic V6 that is just 8.75mm thick, making it the slimmest foldable phone on the market. It also houses the industry’s largest battery at 6660mAh made possible by HONOR’s Silicon-carbon Battery technology.

It offers both IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring maximum resistance to dust and high-pressure water. This is also the first foldable to feature the highly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The HONOR Magic V6 will be available in select markets in H2 this year.

Nothing Phone (4a) series

Nothing showcased the Nothing Phone (4a) smartphone at the MWC before the official unveiling of the Phone (4a) and the Phone (4a) Pro at the London event. These have several upgrades in terms of display, design, and more. The Phone (4a) Pro now has a metal frame and features the glyph matrix. The Indian version of the phones also gets a bigger 5400mAh battery.

Qualcomm X105 5G Modem and FastConnect 8800

Qualcomm introduced the Qualcomm X105 5G Modem-RF, the industry’s first 3GPP Release 19-ready modem designed for high-performance 5G Advanced and as a foundation for future 6G deployment. It supports peak download speeds of 14.8 Gbps and peak upload speeds of 4.2 Gbps on sub-6GHz bands.

Qualcomm also introduced the FastConnect 8800 Mobile Connectivity System that integrates a 4×4 Wi-Fi configuration to deliver peak speeds of 11.6 Gbps, up to twice the throughput of previous Wi-Fi 7 systems, and three times the gigabit-range coverage. There is also Bluetooth 7 High Data Throughput (HDT), increasing speeds from 2 Mbps to 7.5 Mbps for reliable multi-device audio and low-latency connections.

Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept

Lenovo introduced several concept devices, and the Yoga Book Pro 3D Concept is designed for digital creators and 3D professionals. Its glasses-free 3D display enables users to view depth, form, and spatial relationships directly on screen. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU for efficient handling of complex 3D tasks.

motorola detailed the razr fold, the company’s first book-style foldable smartphone at the MWC 2026 after it was introduced at CES 2026. It has an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO foldable display, a 6.6-inch outer display, and is the first smartphone to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, promising a 75% improvement in drop performance compared to previous generations. It also introduced FIFA World Cup 26 Collection edition that blends tournament-inspired styling with premium craftsmanship.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Samsung showcased the Galaxy S26 Ultra at the MWC after it was introduced at its event. One of the main highlights of the phone is the Privacy Display utilizing a combination of hardware and software, the screen is designed to restrict viewing angles, protecting on-screen information from onlookers in public spaces. There is also Super Fast Charging 3.0 that can charge the phone up to 75% capacity in 30 minutes with the new 60W charger.

Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra

Infinix introduced the NOTE 60 Ultra with a 6.78″ 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8400 Ultimate SoC, rear Active Matrix Display, 200MP main camera, 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera, and a 7000mAh battery.

vivo X300 Ultra

vivo teased the upcoming X300 Ultra with a 200MP sensor and also introduced the world’s first 400mm vivo Zeiss teleconverter professional photography kit—Vivo Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra—and a brand-new professional photography handle. The phone will bring 4K 120fps 10-bit Log shooting across all focal lengths, ensuring consistent 10-bit color depth.

TECNO modular smartphone concept

TECNO showcased the modular smartphone concept that utilizes magnetic attachments and wireless connectivity to allow users to physically expand the device’s hardware capabilities. It features an ultra-thin base device measuring 4.9mm in thickness. TECNO has developed approximately ten specific modules for the ecosystem’s introduction.

TCL NXTPAPER AMOLED display

TCL introduced a major advancement in its NXTPAPER eye-care display technology, integrating it with AMOLED panels for the first time, delivering high-brightness, true-to-life visuals while reducing eye strain during prolonged use.

Leica Leitzphone Powered By Xiaomi

Based on the specifications of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, the Leica Leitzphone designed by Leica and powered by Xiaomi features Leica’s iconic camera color combination with an aluminium-alloy body with a nickel-anodized finish, Leica camera engraving and a rotatable camera ring that provides precise control, assignable to focal length, focus, or bokeh and has a black fiberglass back cover.

HIROH phone by Murena

The HIROH phone, a collaboration between Murena and HIROH, is a premium smartphone designed for maximum privacy and security. It runs on /e/OS, a de-Googled version of Android 16 that eliminates data-collecting code and trackers by default. The standout feature is its dual hardware kill switches located on the sides of the device.

MWC 2026 has proved that the mobile industry is no longer just about incremental hardware upgrades but about the seamless integration of Agentic AI, sustainable engineering, and uncompromising user privacy. From HONOR’s conceptual robotics to Murena’s hardware-level security, this year’s showcase highlighted a shift toward more specialized, “human-centric” technology.

As 5G Advanced matures and the industry begins to lay the groundwork for 6G, the innovations seen in Barcelona this week—whether it’s modular hardware, glasses-free 3D displays, or ultra-thin foldables—set a high bar for the year ahead.
