OPPO has officially confirmed that its next-generation flagship device, the Find X9 Ultra, will make its global debut later this year, after the China launch, just like the other Find X9 models. This launch marks a notable shift in the company’s release strategy, as it will be the first time OPPO’s top-tier “Ultra” platform expands beyond the Chinese market.
According to the company, this expansion underscores its long-term operational commitment to global consumers. A primary focus of the upcoming Find X9 Ultra is its camera technology.
OPPO states that the device integrates the most advanced imaging system the company has developed to date for a smartphone. The hardware relies on next-generation optical engineering designed to advance mobile photography capabilities.
Additionally, the camera system was co-developed with Hasselblad, continuing the established partnership between the two brands to integrate professional imaging expertise into consumer mobile devices. Based on earlier rumors, the phone will get a 200MP 1/1.28″ ultra-large sensor periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP 10X periscope telephoto lens, and over 7000mAh large battery.
Specific details regarding the device’s full technical specifications, pricing, and regional availability have not yet been disclosed. OPPO has indicated that this information will be released in phases as the official global launch date approaches.
Speaking at OPPO’s media event in Barcelona, Elvis Zhou, CEO of OPPO Europe, said:
Positioned as “Built to Be Your Next Camera,” the Find X9 Ultra is designed to deliver professional-grade imaging performance in a flagship smartphone form factor. In 2026, many devices will carry the ‘Ultra’ label. We believe the title must be earned. With Find X9 Ultra, we are setting a new benchmark for mobile imaging.
