Google Pixel 10a with 6.3″ FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, IP68 ratings, 5100mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 49,999


Google just launched the Pixel 10a, the company’s latest Pixel smartphone, in India and global markets, as promised. The phone retains the a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, 11% brighter than Pixel 9a.

It is still powered by Google Tensor G4 SoC, and has Titan M2 security chip. The phone runs Android 16 and will receive seven years of software support, including security updates and Android OS upgrades. In the US, the phone also comes with Satellite SOS, a first for the Pixel A-series phone.

The Pixel 10a comes in Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry colours. The phone features a refined and premium design with rounded edges, a satin-finish 100% recycled aluminium frame and an 81% recycled plastic back cover, and there are no camera bumps. The phone has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Pixel 10a retains the 48MP rear camera and OIS, along with a 13MP ultra-wide secondary camera and a 13-megapixel camera on the front, with 4K video recording for both front and rear cameras. There is Macro Focus with the main camera and features such as Auto Best Take and Camera Coach.

The phone retains the 5100mAh battery that promises up to 30h battery life, but the fast charging support has been upgraded to 30W, up from 23W, and the wireless charging has also been upgraded from 7.5W to 10W.

Pricing and availability

The Google Pixel 10a is priced at Rs. 49,999 for the single 256GB version and is available for pre-order from Flipkart and the Google India online store. It will be available from March 6 online and at major retailers across the country.
