Lava just launched the Play Max, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in the Play series, after the launch of Play Ultra earlier this year. The phone has a 6.72″ FHD+ flat LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, and the company says that it has segment-first Vapor Chamber Cooling (VC Cooling). The phone has up to 8GB of with up to 8GB virtual RAM, complemented by 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, which is expandable up to 1TB, features a 50MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera.
The phone runs Android 15 without any bloatware. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Pricing and availability
The Lava Play Max comes in Deccan Black and Himalayan White colours and is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 14,499.
The phone will be available across Lava’s retail outlets starting this December. It includes Free Service @ Home support across the country similar to other Lava phones.
