Samsung just launched the Galaxy M17 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED display with a notch, is powered by Exynos 1330 SoC replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC in the predecessor.
It retains the 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro camera and a 13MP front camera. The phone runs Android 15 with One UI 7 on top, has Gemini Live features and will get 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The phone has become slightly thinner and lighter compared to the M16 5G, and the camera design is new, which are the major changes.

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G comes in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black colours and is priced starting at Rs. 12,499 for 4GB + 128GB model, 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 13, 999 and the top-end 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 15,499.
The phone will be available across Amazon, Samsung.com and select retail stores starting from October 13th.
