FUJIFILM Corporation today announced the launch of the FUJIFILM X-E5 (X-E5) in India, the latest addition to the X Series. Designed as a compact and lightweight camera, it is built to be an “effortless daily carry, adaptable to the most challenging scenarios.”
The X-E5 features a top plate crafted from machined aluminum, combining smooth metallic texture with high rigidity. The tapered rear design enhances the operability of the dials, while the camera offers a simplified EVF interface and streamlined handling for comfortable shooting.
The camera introduces a Surround View function, displaying areas outside the shooting frame in semi-transparent or line patterns to mimic an optical viewfinder. A front-mounted control lever allows for quick adjustments such as switching VIEW MODE, changing aspect ratios, or operating the digital teleconverter.
Additional refinements include flush-mounted viewfinder and diopter controls, a precision-cut Film Simulation dial, and vertical and horizontal design elements that preserve the essence of a traditional camera. A rope-type shoulder strap is included to complement the camera’s design.
