OPPO has introduced the OPPO A6 Pro, the company’s latest smartphone in the A6 series in China, as the successor to the A5 Pro. This gets a 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz flat OLED screen, is powered by Dimensity 7300 SoC with 4300mm² VC cooling, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The phone has IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, claiming to be resistant to splashing, immersion, high-pressure water flow and high-temperature hot water, and the entire machine’s waterproof design supports six years of durability; the body uses a high-strength aviation alloy frame and OPPO Crystal Shield glass to form an ultra-drop-resistant diamond structure; at the same time, the machine has passed rigorous military standard impact tests, and the horizontal and vertical as well as the internal and external structures of the body have strong drop resistance.
The Shanhai RF antenna in the middle frame improves the transceiver capabilities of low-frequency signals, which have the strongest penetration, by 200%, doubling the overall signal strength of the phone to twice that of the previous generation. Combined with the new Shanhai Weak Network Acceleration Engine, it intelligently identifies network status and quickly switches to the optimal frequency band, ensuring smooth operation in weak network environments, said OPPO. The phone packs a 7000mAh battery with 80W Super Flash Charge fast charging.

The OPPO A6 Pro comes in Black Jade, Gold and Blue colours. Pricing as follows.

The phone is now available to order and will go on sale in China starting from September 12th. This will launch in India as OPPO F31 Pro on September 15th.
OPPO A6i
There is also a cheaper OPPO A6i model which has similar specifications as the OPPO K13x 5G which was launched in India back in June.
It comes in Cloudy White and Midnight Black and is available to order in China starting at 899 yuan (US 126 / Rs. 11,112 approx.) for the 6GB + 128GB model.
OPPO A6 is coming this September
The OPPO A6 with IP69 ratings will be introduced on September 30th. This has a similar design as the Reno14 series. The phone is expected to launch globally as the OPPO F31 5G.
