After teasers and rumours, realme has confirmed the launch of realme P4 Pro and realme P4 smartphones in the new realme P4 series in India on August 20th.
realme P4 Pro: Dual-Chip Performance

The realme P4 Pro will be the first device in its price category to feature two distinct chipsets for processing. The primary processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, built on a 4nm TSMC process, which the company states achieves an Antutu benchmark score of over 1.1 million. This chipset will handle general computing, multitasking, and core application performance.
Working in conjunction with the Snapdragon processor is a dedicated HyperVision AI chipset, which is powered by Pixelworks’ X7 Gen 2 visual processor. This secondary chip is tasked with handling specialized visual computations, including graphics rendering, frame rate upscaling, and AI-based resolution enhancement. According to realme, this hardware-level offloading of visual tasks allows the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 to achieve performance levels comparable to higher-tier chipsets.
The company claims this dual-chip configuration enables stable 144FPS gameplay in over 100 supported titles, real-time frame generation, and resolution upscaling to 1.5K. Features attributed to the HyperVision AI chip include AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, and AI Always-On HDR. The device will also incorporate the GT Performance Engine 3.0 for thermal management and sustained performance.
To provide users with performance metrics, realme has collaborated with PerfDog to introduce a “Frame Generation Index” that displays real-time data on the performance gains from the Pixelworks hardware.
Battery and Charging
The realme P4 Pro 5G will house a 7000mAh Titan Battery within a 7.68mm thin chassis. The company claims this battery can sustain over 8 hours of BGMI gameplay at 90FPS. The device supports 80W Ultra Charge, capable of charging the battery to 50% in 25 minutes, and includes 10W reverse charging functionality.
Display and Visuals
The display is a 144Hz HyperGlow AMOLED 4D Curve+ screen with a local peak brightness of 6500 nits. It supports HDR10+, displays 1.07 billion colors, and includes eye comfort features such as TÜV Rheinland certification for low-blue-light protection and 4320Hz high-frequency dimming.
Cooling System
For thermal control, it incorporates a 7000mm² AirFlow VC Cooling System, which realme states can lower CPU core temperatures by up to 20°C during intensive use.
Camera System

The realme P4 Pro 5G features a dual 50MP AI camera setup. The rear system is headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX896 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), while the front houses a 50MP OV50D camera. Both front and rear cameras support video recording at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second (FPS).
The device also offers HDR video recording up to 4K 30FPS. Software enhancements include Hypershot Architecture with Ultra Steady video, AI Motion Stabilization, and several AI-powered modes such as AI Travel Snap, AI Landscape, and a mobile document scanner.
realme P4: Accessible Visual Enhancement
The standard realme P4 model will also feature a dual-chip architecture. It combines a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G System-on-Chip (SoC) with a dedicated Pixelworks visual processor. This configuration is intended to bring enhanced visual performance, smoother gameplay, and better frame stability to a more accessible price point within the mid-range market.
Display Features
The realme P4 5G features a 6.77-inch FHD+ 144Hz HyperGlow AMOLED display. This screen has a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits in certain conditions, supports HDR10+, and can render 1.07 billion colors. For user comfort, it is equipped with 3840Hz PWM dimming and hardware-level blue light reduction.
Power and Endurance
Like its Pro counterpart, the realme P4 5G is powered by a 7000mAh Titan Battery, which the company claims provides up to 11 hours of BGMI gameplay. It also supports 80W Ultra Charge, achieving a 50% charge in 25 minutes. The device includes features such as AI Smart Charging, Bypass Charging for gaming, and reverse charging.
Thermal Management
Thermal management is handled by a 7000mm² AirFlow VC Cooling System to maintain performance during demanding tasks like 4K recording or extended gaming sessions.
Camera System
The realme P4 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front of the device has a 16MP IMX480 camera for selfies and video calls. This model supports video capture up to 4K resolution and includes AI-powered photography modes like AI Landscape.
Design and Aesthetics

The realme P4 series introduces two distinct design philosophies for its models.
realme P4 Pro – Living Nature Design: The P4 Pro features a back panel constructed from a premium tech-wood material, designed for durability and a natural texture. The device will be available in three finishes inspired by nature: Birch Wood (a light, warm tone), Dark Oak Wood (a deep brown finish), and Midnight Ivy (a muted emerald green).
realme P4 – Metal Heart Design: The realme P4 adopts an industrial aesthetic characterized by metallic lines and an exposed screw detail. This model is designed to convey durability and style. It will be offered in three color variants: Steel Grey, Engine Blue, and Forge Red.
