OPPO just launched the introduced the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro smartphones in the K13 series in India, as it had promised. The phones pack a 6.8-inch flat 1.5K AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate.

The OPPO K13 Turbo is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, which was first used in the Reno14 Pro, and the K13 Turbo Pro is the first OPPO phone to use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, and has 7000mm² VC cooling. Both the phones feature a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP secondary camera and a 16MP front camera.
The phones pack a 7000mAh battery and support 80W fast charging. The back of the phone uses a composite glass fiber material with a three-dimensional metal cutting texture.
The main highlight of the phones is the active cooling fan on the back with Rapid Cooling Engine. It has the thinnest built-in fan blades at 0.1mm, increasing air volume by 20% with the highest rotation speed up to 18,000RPM. L-shaped duct with ultra-low airflow resistance 3mm ultra-short design cuts airflow resistance and boosts cooling efficiency for peak performance, said the company.
This Optimises airflow guidance to achieve uniform airflow distribution, boosting air intake by approximately 10%. Density optimised cooling fins 13 ultra-thin 0.1-mm fins with uneven spacing, improving heat dissipation efficiency by 3 times.
Even with the fan, the whole phone has support for IPX9, IPX8 and IPX6 waterproof ratings, making it the industry’s first fully waterproof mobile phone air-cooling technology, said OPPO.

The company has also introduced a Turbo cooling back clip that includes a back case and a cooling fan. With the phone and the cooling kit, it can reduce the temperature by up to 13°, said the company.
