Lava has officially provided a glimpse into its upcoming device, the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 5G, successor to the Blaze AMOLED. The announcement centers on a new “Linea” design philosophy, which the company states will define the device’s commitment to precision, slimness, and user experience.
According to Lava, the Linea philosophy is inspired by the Latin word for “linear” and is founded on four pillars: Functionality, Quality, Craftsmanship, and Innovation. This framework aims to shape the smartphone’s overall design and user interaction.

A primary highlight of the announcement is the device’s physical profile. The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 is slated to be the slimmest device in under Rs. 15,000 price segment, measuring 7.55 mm in thickness and weighing 174g. Lava attributes this slim and lightweight build to advanced internal component stacking and a custom-designed ultra-thin housing.
For durability, the phone is built with what the company describes as premium-grade materials and will feature an IP64 rating for protection against dust and limited water ingress.
The device is set to feature a 6.74-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, intended to deliver vivid colors and fluid visuals. In terms of ergonomics, Lava notes that the design has been optimized for single-handed use through balanced weight distribution and thoughtfully placed buttons.
From a craftsmanship perspective, the Blaze AMOLED 2 is described as having a finely sculpted middle frame and clean edge transitions. The rear panel incorporates intricate linear detailing designed to interact with light from different angles, enhancing its aesthetic appeal.
Based on reports, the phone will pack a Dimensity 7060 SoC, come with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, 50MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Stereo speakers, IR blaster and a 5000mah battery with support for 33W fast charging.
