Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with Perplexity, an AI-powered search and answer engine, to provide all 360 million of its customers with a free 12-month subscription to Perplexity Pro. This collaboration marks Perplexity’s first partnership with an Indian telecommunications company.
Perplexity’s platform aims to enhance the user search experience by delivering real-time, accurate, and thoroughly researched responses in a conversational format, rather than a traditional list of web pages. Its self-learning AI tool allows users to refine their queries for more precise outcomes.
While Perplexity offers a free version with robust search functionalities, the Pro version includes advanced capabilities designed for professionals and frequent users.
These features include a higher daily limit for Pro searches, access to advanced AI models such as GPT-4.1 and Claude, the option to select specific AI models, deep research tools, image generation, file upload and analysis capabilities, and Perplexity Labs for developing new ideas. Globally, Perplexity Pro is priced at approximately INR 17,000 annually.
Under this new partnership, the Perplexity Pro subscription, valued at INR 17,000 for a year, will be available to all Airtel mobile, Wi-Fi, and DTH customers at no cost for a period of one year.
To claim the offer, you need to:
- Install My Airtel app for Android or iOS and login
- On the App’s Homepage, click the Perplexity Pro card or go to ‘Claim OTTs and more’ section or ‘Discover Airtel Thanks’ to find the offer
- Tap ‘Claim Now’ and then ‘Proceed’
- Sign in through email, Google ID or Apple ID, or create an account on Perplexity when redirected to activate the Perplexity Pro subscription.
Note: You can claim the offer any time between 17th July 2025 and 17th January 2026, and the validity of the subscription will be 1 year from the date of activation.
