It performs hundreds of automated searches, reasons across different information sources, and creates comprehensive, fully cited reports quickly. This feature supports professional, academic, hobbyist research, and important life decisions like home buying and financial analysis.
New Agentic AI Feature Enables AI-Powered Business Calls
Google has introduced an agentic capability that lets Search call local businesses on your behalf. When searching for services like “pet groomers near me,” users can click “Have AI check pricing” to have the AI inquire about availability and prices, saving time and effort.
The AI gathers details from various businesses and presents them in a simple, comparable format. Companies retain control over these AI interactions through their Google Business Profile settings, maintaining privacy and control.

Robby Stein, Google Search’s VP of Product, announced that these capabilities will first be introduced to subscribers of AI Pro and Ultra tiers, reflecting Google’s strategy of launching advanced AI features to select users before broader global availability.
