After confirming the launch event on June 26th in China, Xiaomi today revealed design and some of the specifications of the MIX Flip 2 compact flip phone that will be introduced at the event. The image shows the phone in black, gold, purple and cyan.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX Flip 2 will use a three-sided equal-depth micro-curved screen and a frosted metal middle frame, a new hinge structure, and the official said that the screen is amazingly flat.

Xiaomi Mi MIX Flip 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and has a 5165mAh battery. In addition, the new phone uses a 4.01-inch multi-function large external screen and the image shows Leica optics.
The image confirms Leica Summilux lens, f/1.7 aperture and 23mm focal length for the main camera, f/2.2 aperture and 14mm focal length for the secondary camera, hinting at an ultra-wide secondary camera replacing the telephoto camera in the MIX Flip.
Xiaomi said that the phone will be just 7.57mm thick when unfolded, slightly tinner than the 7.8mm MIX Flip and will weigh 199g, making it 7g heavier than the predecessor.
