REDMI China head Thomas Wang said that it is not easy to make a flagship tablet, and the most challenging part was to make a compact and lightweight tablet.
The REDMI K Pad will the current industry’s top LCD screen wit ultra-high resolution, dual-driver ICs for synchronization of data, brightness, color, etc. To keep the weight less and make it thin, the company has used special core components such as motors, speakers, and screen.
Each customized device requires a dedicated verification strategy, trial production verification of more than 100 machines, and the investment in whole machine testing reaches several thousand units, which far exceeds the R&D investment scale of large tablets.
As the first flagship small tablet in the history of REDMI, K Pad will launch a number of new technologies that have never been seen on Android tablets, and it will definitely live up to everyone’s expectations.

According to reports, the tablet will pack an 8.8″ 3K LCD CSOT 16:10 aspect ratio LCD screen with 165Hz refresh rate and come with 67W fast charging.
