Truecaller, the global platform known for caller ID and call blocking, has launched a new feature called Secure Calls as part of its Truecaller for Business service.
This feature advances beyond the existing Verified Business system by verifying the authenticity of every business call, addressing the growing issue of fraudulent call spoofing.
How Secure Calls Work
Secure Calls use a secure verification handshake between the business making the call and Truecaller’s system. This process confirms that the incoming call genuinely comes from the stated company, preventing impersonation by scammers. When a call passes this check, Truecaller displays a “Secure Call” label within the app, giving users clear confirmation of its authenticity.

According to Truecaller’s announcement, India’s proptech leader NoBroker has already implemented Secure Calls to improve its protection against call fraud.
Availability
Starting today, Secure Calls is being rolled out globally and is available to all businesses subscribed to Truecaller for Business.
