vivo has introduced the S30 and S30 Pro mini smartphones in the S20 series in China, as it had promised. The S30 retains the 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED BOE Q10 panel, but the new S30 Pro mini that replaces the S20 Pro gets a smaller 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen.
The phones feature a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. The S30 Pro mini is the world’s first mobile phone to obtain SGS triple-proof certificatio, said the company.
The vivo S30 has a plastic frame and the S30 Pro mini get a metal frame and these come in Cool Berry Pink, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow and Cocoa Black colours. The S30 Pro mini has IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The S30 gets the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and the S30 Pro mini is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, same as the S20 Pro. Both the phone pack a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
