Update: TECNO has confirmed the launch of POVA CURVE 5G smartphone in India on May 29th.
The teaser shows the phone in Black and Silver colours. The teaser confirms a 64MP rear camera along with a secondary camera, and the company has revealed that the phone will pack a curved AMOLED display. It will come with 5G++, VoWiFi Dual Pass, Intelligent Signal Hub System, and more for the best network experience.
Earlier: TECNO has started teasing the launch of POVA CURVE 5G, the company’s next smartphone with a curved screen, in India. Other than the curved screen, the teaser reveals Ella AI, which will bring several AI features including Multilingual Support, AI Call Assistant, AI Auto Answer and AI Voiceprint Noise Suppression.
Ella AI will be part of HiOS 15 based on Android 15 which will run out of the box on the POVA CURVE 5G smartphone.
An earlier teaser revealed the phone with a sleek design, camera bump, and hints at the rear design.
The phone recently appeared on the Google Play Console, revealing a FHD+ (1080 x 2436 pixels) display, Android 15 and 8GB of RAM for the phone. It also revealed MediaTek MT6978 SoC, which is Dimensity 7300 SoC.
These details have also been confirmed by a Geekbench listing. TECNO will launch the smartphone sometime later this May 2025, and will sell it exclusively on Flipkart. We should know more details, including the launch date, in the coming days.
