Earlier:Xiaomi today confirmed the launch of CIVI 5 Pro, the company’s next phone in the CIVI series in China this month as the successor to last year’s CIVI 4 Pro. The teaser shows a sleek design for the phone, a metal frame, and four colours.
Regarding the phone, Xiaomi smartphone head, Lu Weibing, said that the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro has an internal code name of “Little 15”. While the key experiences such as imaging, performance, screen, and battery have leapt forward, it also continues Civi’s original thin and light feel and stylish and exquisite appearance, he added.
There are triple rear cameras for the phone. Based on earlier rumours, the phone will get a 50MP triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP telephoto camera.
The image shows LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 1:6.3-2.2/15-60 ASPH revealing f/1.63 aperture for the main camera and f/2.2 aperture and 15mm focal length for the ultra-wide camera, similar to the predecessor. The front camera has been upgraded to 50MP ultra-sensitive lens with improved resolution and 25% more photosensitivity thanks to the new “ultra-transparent nano-prism”. Xiaomi has also shared samples from the telephoto and the front cameras.
The phone recently surfaced on Geekbench listing with the model number 25067PYE3C. This reveals that it will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile platform. It also revealed 16GB RAM for the phone, but there should also be 12GB RAM models.
