HUAWEI introduced the HarmonyOS PC operating system last week with several new features and said that the first HarmonyOS PC will launch in China on May 19, 2025. Today, the company has posted a teaser for the laptop.
“The world is vast, showing the extraordinary,” says the company without revealing any other details. The teaser shows ULTIMATE DESIGN branding for the laptop and an ultra-thin design as well as leather finish.
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, HUAWEI’s foldable PC will feature a large foldable screen and a large linear motor built in, which can simulate keyboard typing. The device will use a self-developed Kirin X90 chip, and adopts a new folding form, he added.
According to China Information Security Evaluation Center’s security and reliability evaluation results from March 2025, HiSilicon Kirin X90 processor security and reliability level evaluation result is Level II.
In addition to the PC, HUAWEI will also introduce the HUAWEI Nov14 series smartphones, HUAWEI FreeArc open-ear headset and more at the event.
