LG Electronics India Limited today announced the appointment of Vantika Agrawal, a prominent Indian chess player, as its brand ambassador.
Agrawal, a young Woman Grandmaster, holds the distinction of being a three-time Chess Olympiad gold medalist, having secured two gold medals at the 45th Chess Olympiad. She is also a recent recipient of the Arjuna Award, an honor recognizing outstanding achievements in sports in India.
Born in September 2002, Vantika Agrawal holds the FIDE titles of Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and International Master (IM). Beyond her three Chess Olympiad gold medals, she earned a silver medal with the Indian Team at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games. Agrawal’s list of achievements further includes medals obtained at the Commonwealth, World Youth, Asian Youth, and National Championships.
