Samsung Galaxy M56 5G launching in India on April 17

Samsung has confirmed the launch of Galaxy M56 5G, the company’s next smartphone in the ‘Galaxy M series’ in India on April 17th as the successor to last year’s Galaxy M55.

Samsung says that the phone will be just 7.2mm thick, making it 30%  slimmer than the Galaxy M55, and will weigh 180 grams. It will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the front and the back.

The phone will pack a 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. There will be a 12MP front camera, and will support 10-bit HDR video recording on the front and the back.

It will come with Super AMOLED+ screen with 36% slimmer bezels and 33% brighter panel compared to the predecessor.  It doesn’t reveal the processor details, but based on recent benchmark listing of the phone with the model number SM-M566B on Geekbench, the phone will be powered by Exynos 1480 processor (S5E8845) compared to Exynos 1580 in the Galaxy A56 5G.

This also revealed 8GB of RAM and Android 15 for the phone. We can expect a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy M56 5G will be sold on Amazon.in after the launch. There are reports of Galaxy F56 5G launching soon.
