Sony Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD announced for NTT Docomo


Sony has announced Xperia acro (HD SO-03D) and the Xperia NX (SO-02D) for NTT Docomo in Japan. The Xperia NX (SO-02D) comes under the Docomo NEXT series and is a variant of Xperia S that was announced at CES 2012. The Xperia acro (HD SO-03D) comes under Docomo with series. Both these phones comes with 4.3-inch (1280 × 720 pixels) HD Reality Display, 12MP camera auto focus camera with 1080p HD video recording and 1.3MP secondary front facing camera, 1.5GHz dual core CPU and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Other features include, 3G (HSDPA 14 Mbps, HSUPA 5.7 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and NTT Docomo apps such as i-channel, sp mode, E-map navigation DoCoMo etc.

The Xperia acro HD SO-03D is 11.9 mm thick and weighs 149 g. It comes with infrared port data exchange, mobile wallet and mobile TV. It has 1 GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 1840mAh battery.

The Xperia NX SO-02D would be available in Black and White colors from NTT Docomo starting February 2012. The Xperia acro HD SO-03D would be available in four colours, Aqua Blue, Black, Sakura Pink, Ceramic White at the end of March 2012 from NTT Docomo.
