Samsung just launched the Galaxy F55 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the F series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, and is Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, same as the Galaxy M55 5G which was launched in India last month.
It has up to 8GB of RAM, has a 50MP rear camera with 1.5˚ OIS and VDIS along with a 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro cameras. There is a 50MP front camera for the phone.
The phone runs Android 14 with One UI 6, and the company has promised 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone. Samsung says that this is the segment’s slimmest and lightest vegan leather smartphone of 2024.
It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

Samsung Galaxy F55 5G comes in Apricot Crush and Raisin Black colours and is priced at Rs. 26,999 for 8GB + 128GB, Rs. 29,999 for 8GB + 256GB and the 12GB+256GB model costs Rs. Rs. 32,999.
It will be available from Flipkart, Samsung India online store as well as retail stores starting through early sale from today, May 27, 7PM onwards.
