MediaTek has confirmed the launch of Dimensity 9300+ as the successor of the Dimensity 9300 in China at the MediaTek Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC) 2024 on May 7th.
At the event, the company will reveal its AI Strategy and Vision, generative AI application ecosystem, gaming experience and more.
Based on earlier reports, the SoC will pack 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 performance core clocked at 3.4GHz, 3 x performance core clocked ARM Cortex-X4 cores at a slower 2.85GHz and 4 X Cortex-A720 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. This reveals a minor clock speed increase from 3.25GHz to 3.4GHz.
Geekbench leak revealed, 2229 single-core and multi-core scores of 7526. According to reports, the chip will power the vivo X100S smartphone that is due for China launch in May. The phone is said to pack a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO OLED straight screen, flat metal frame, glass back, and 120W fast charging.
vivo X90s, vivo S18 Pro, iQOO Neo8 Pro and Redmi K60 Ultra were one of the few devices powered by the Dimensity 9200+ SoC last year.
