Regarding this ZTE CEO said:

At present, satellite communications mainly rely on high-orbit satellites, which are often used in emergency scenarios. However, due to the limited number of large high-orbit satellites, there are still some limitations in high-speed downloads and dense connections. In the future, with the development and civilian use of low-orbit satellites, the application scenarios of satellite mobile phones are expected to further expand. In addition, ZTE has profound accumulation in information security, and we will also consider expanding these security technologies and satellite communication capabilities to the civilian field. We will also launch a satellite communications flagship phone for the mass market this year.
