Update: Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 will feature a 6.36″ 1.5K ultra-narrow flat AMOLED screen, 460 PPI, Huaxing C8 substrate, 1-120Hz LTPO, full DC dimming, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

Xiaomi has also posted images of the Rock Blue colours that resembles a “Drizzle Blue Stone” offering a smooth feel, but it looks more like a Green colour.

The phone will also come in Snow Mountain Pink colour that uses high-tech nano leather material, which has a soft and delicate touch.

There will also be a black colour with a velvet frosted glass back. The company already shared the image of the phone in white.

Earlier: Xiaomi has posted the official images of the Xiaomi 14 smartphone ahead of the launch. It has confirmed that the phone will come with a 6.36-inch screen with minimal bezels.

CEO Lei Jun said that the company’s engineering team hid the infrared in the camera area on the back, the speaker opening has been changed to a micro-slit hidden design and the top microphone has been hidden in the earpiece area.

Xiaomi mobile phone product manager says that the Xiaomi 14 has almost reached an extremely narrow four-width design, with three sides of 1.61mm, and the chin has 1.71mm bezels, making it even narrower than the iPhone 15 Pro. Even the Xiaomi 13 had the same 1.61mm ultra-narrow bezels and a 6.36-inch screen, so the display could be the same.

Xiaomi Mi 14 Pro has a similar rear design as the Xiaomi Mi 14, but it is larger.

The phone has a 50MP 1/1.31″ 1.2μm large sensor, f/1.6 aperture + Leica Summilux lens. The camera has an ultra-high dynamic range of 13.5EV, offering more realistic colors, and richer light and shadow details, and it consumes 42% less power for the same size, according to the company.

There is a 75mm telephoto lens for 3.2x portraits at 10cm to infinity, offering both close-ups and portraits from far.  In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 had a 50MP 1/ 1.49″ Sony IMX800 sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The company has also shared the camera samples from the main and telephoto cameras.

Earlier rumours revealed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 16GB of RAM and Android 14 for both the phones. These will also be the first phones to run Xiaomi’s own HyperOS.
